At the Paris Fashion Week runway, Bella Hadid has a dress spray-painted on her body in real time

Bella Hadid, an American supermodel, had spray-on slip dress painted live on her body for the Coperni Spring Summer 2023 collection fashion show on Friday during Paris Fashion Week. Since then, a number of videos and images from her catwalk experience have surfaced online.
“Bella Hadid x Coperni Spring 2023 brings back memories of Alexander McQueen style. What an occasion, “Diet Prada, an Instagram account, stated in a post.

In the now-viral video, Hadid can be seen walking down the runway initially topless and in just a thing and some high heels. The model entered the room with her arm over her breasts.

The 25-year-old is then shown in the clip having two professional spray painters paint various parts of her body. A futuristic mid-length spray-on dress with a thigh-high slit appeared in real time when the thick layer of opaque, white latex dried and another crew member was spotted slicing into her outfit.
Eventually, the “game-changing” incident that stole the show at Paris Fashion Week was witnessed by the model as she strutted down a hallway packed of photographers and guests.

The womenswear company Coperni, founded by French designers Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, is the source of the dress.
In a preview on Zoom prior to the exhibition, Coperni CEO and co-founder Vaillant said, “It’s our celebration of women’s silhouettes from decades ago.” According to a Vogue report, Meyer continued, “And we wanted to refresh our look in a more grown-up and scientific approach, too.”
