Shikhar Dhawan, an Indian cricketer, will soon be seen acting for the camera in the upcoming film ‘Double XL,’ which stars Bollywood actresses Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi as the leads. The film is about two plus-sized women who are pursuing their ambitions. The Indian opening batter explained how the growth occurred: “As a national team athlete, your life is constantly stressful. One of my favourite pleasures is watching fascinating movies. When this opportunity presented itself and I heard the narrative, it had a profound effect on me.”
“This is a great message for the whole society, and I hope a lot of young ladies and boys will keep chasing their ambitions no matter what,” he said of the film, which aims to communicate a healthy message to society and has the ability to start a dialogue. The slice-of-life comedy movie directed by Satramm Ramani, which challenges body weight prejudices, also stars Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra as male protagonists. ‘Double XL,’ presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, Wakaoo Films, and Mudassar Aziz, will be released in theatres on November 4, 2022.
