In Patna’s Bihta neighbourhood, shots were fired at a journalist for a local Hindi newspaper. The tragedy happened on Monday night while Amraha village native Ravi Shankar was riding his bike home from a birthday party.
“The bike-borne assassins who were waiting to target Shankar started shooting at him as he approached his house. Shankar was shot once during the five rounds, according to Ranjit Kumar, the SHO of the Bihta police station.
As Ravi Shankar became unconscious, the assailants assumed he had passed out and departed the scene. The sufferer has been admitted to a private hospital, where his condition is described as critical. We are attempting to get his statement while also looking through his cell phone and CCTV footage for any hints, added Kumar.
