The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) manifesto for the Gujarat Assembly elections was released on Saturday by Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel, BJP national president JP Nadda, and BJP state party president CR Patil.
The BJP made a number of pledges in its platform, including the creation of 2 million employment for young people who are unemployed under the "Sankalp Patra" programme during the next five years. Making Gujarat's economy worth $1 trillion, implementing the "Schools of Excellence" (SoE) project, increasing the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (Ayushman Bharat) annual cap from 5 lakh to 10 lakh per family, enacting the Uniform Civil Code, creating a "Corridor of Blue Economy Industries," etc.
The BJP pledged in its manifesto to put the Gujarat Recovery of Damages of Public and Private Properties Act into effect. The purpose of the Act is to make up for harm that antisocial elements caused to public and private property during riots, violent protests, unrest, etc.
Nadda added at the launch, "We always do what we say, and it is our specialty that we also do what we have not expressed (in the manifesto)."

According to the manifesto, the BJP will further enhance Gaushalas (with an additional budget of 500 crore), establish 1,000 more mobile veterinary units, and assure full vaccination and insurance for all cattle.

The party had started the "Agresar Gujarat" (progressive Gujarat) campaign on November 5 with the intention of connecting with the state's residents and getting their feedback on how the party should approach developing its manifesto for the upcoming elections in Gujarat.
The BJP has been in power in Gujarat for six consecutive terms and intends to hold onto it in the upcoming elections against the opposition Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The elections are expected to take place in the first week of December.
The BJP won 99 seats in the most recent elections, and the Congress came in second with 77 seats.
The 182-member State Assembly will be chosen in two rounds of voting on December 1 and 5. Voter tallies will be tallied on December 8.
