BLACKPINK ‘S “PINK VENOM” SWEPT TOP CHARTS AGAIN

BLACKPINK new song “Pink Venom”   swept the multiple charts including iTunes song chart , Spotify Top song global chart  and Worldwide song chart. The song also topped the US Spotify ‘Global Top 50’ chart. This is the first song by a K-pop female artist.

The K-Pop girl band  BLACKPINK’s ‘Pink Venom’ gained 90.4 million views in 24 hours, which made it the biggest MV debut of 2022 on YouTube and the third-largest 24-hour music video debut of all time.

YG Entertainment said on Monday that “Pink Venom” hits 7,937,036 streams on its  first day of its release.

The popular girl group’s recent song  topped Spotify`s Global Top 50 chart for 2 days with their new hit ‘Pink Venom’. The K-Pop song also  topped iTunes` “Top Song” chart in 74 countries and the “Worldwide Song” chart for two days.

YG Entertainment explained, “It slightly decreased from the first day, but it is still the most played song released by female artists around the world this year. BLACKPINK is the first K-pop artist who topped the chart for 2 consecutive days.”

 YG Entertainment’s BLACKPINK is a South Korean girl group that consists of four members : Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. The group debuted in August 2016 with their single album ‘Square One’. The girl band went on to become a worldwide phenomenon. “Pink Venom” is their latest song from the upcoming album “Born Pink.”
