Doctor mother killed mentally disable daughter by throwing from 4th floor of the building

A mother in Bengaluru shockingly killed her four-year-old mentally challenged daughter by hurling her from the fourth floor of a building.

Dhriti, the young child, was thrown from the fourth storey of the apartment building in the Sudhama Nagar neighbourhood of Sampangiramanagar’s Srinivasa Colony and perished instantly. Sushma attempted to hang herself by climbing the balcony railings after throwing her infant, but one of the neighbours noticed her and saved her. This was captured on the CCTV system for the unit.

The mum, a dentist by profession, allegedly believed that her child’s mental disability would harm her career. The mum threw the infant, then climbed the rails and stayed there for a short while before her family members dragged her off. Following a complaint from her husband Kiran, the police detained Sushma. According to police, the kid passed away instantly.

The Advaith Ashraya flat in CKC Garden, where the couple lived, was on the fourth level. CCTV footage of the event shows the lady bringing her daughter up to the balcony before dumping her down. Sushma allegedly attempted to leave her daughter at a train station before, according to authorities.

Police reports claim that Sushma tried to abandon her daughter once before and was upset that she had a cognitive disability.

After her husband complained about her, the woman was brought into custody. A case has now been filed under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code, and additional research is being conducted.
