‘Don’t leave these pets alone’ an emotional tweet. Russia-Ukraine war

Don’t leave them alone, twitter user from India. In a war-torn country like Ukraine, he voiced his compassion for these helpless creatures. They are unable to communicate, yet they are afraid for their lives as well. Please do not abandon them.

Thousands of Ukrainians evacuated the city when Russian forces launched their invasion early Thursday, causing traffic jams in certain cities including as Kyiv, and those who were unable to go sought refuge in shelters.

While many people remain in shelters, others are rushing to get out, waiting in queues for petrol, food, and cash. Residents hurried to metro stations, some carrying personal belongings and adored pets, to get out of the line of fire as air raid sirens blasted throughout Kyiv.

While some pets are fortunate enough to be rescued by their owners, many residents are forced to abandon their pets and flee. These pets, who are unable to communicate, are terrified of conflict. They, too, are terrified at the sound of a large explosion, but they are unable to express their fears.

A large number of Ukrainians are fleeing to neighbouring nations such as Poland and Moldova.

Hundreds of Ukrainian refugees crossed the border into Poland on Thursday, according to Business Insider, and government authorities estimate that another 1 million may enter in the coming weeks.

Many Ukrainians travelled to Przemysl train station, near the Polish-Ukrainian border, to catch other trains to locations outside of the war zone where they have friends or relatives.
