Elon Musk Says Johnny Depp & Amber Heard Should “Move on” After Reported Relationship Dispute
Elon Musk on Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation trial responded by tweeting on Sunday. Elon Musk and Amber Heard have dated briefly allegedly while she was still married to then-husband Depp. They separated in 2017 and briefly got back together in 2018.
In response to Lex Fridman tweeted over Depp and Heard, Musk adviced them to move on. “I hope they both move on. At their best, they are each incredible,” Musk, who once dated Heard, tweeted Saturday.
Depp, 58, sued Heard for $50 million over her 2018 Washington Post essay in which she wrote about facing domestic abuse. He said even though she did not reveal the name, it tarnished his reputation and cost him eight figures in potential earnings. Heard sued him back with a $100 million countersuit, alleging that 2020 statements that she fabricated her domestic abuse claims given to the press by Depp’s lawyer Adam Waldman to destroy her career and defame her.

The jury contemplated for two hours and went home for the long weekend without reaching a verdict. It will reconvene on Tuesday at 9 a.m. They are expected to deliver a verdict next week.
