Police in Karnataka stated on Tuesday that they had arrested a girl and three of her underage friends in connection with the murder of a man in Bengaluru.
The case took an unexpected turn when the girl disclosed that she killed her father with the help of her companions after he sexually assaulted her. The police in Yelahanka Newtown are continuing to investigate and verify their claims.
After barging into his home in the early hours of Monday, her companions hacked the 45-year-old guy to death.
The man was from Bihar and served as a security guard at Bengaluru’s GKVK college. His family consisted of his wife and two daughters. One of the daughters attended a private college, while the other studied Class 4.
The man had two wives, the first of whom resided in Bihar. The second wife was from Kalburgi, and the couple had two daughters together.
According to the authorities, the father allegedly used to sexually harass his first daughter. She had told her mother about it, and the two of them had fought over it. The girl had told her college mates about it. On the day of the assault, the deceased attempted to sexually harass her again in the early hours of Monday morning while inebriated. The girl called her friends and begged for help. According to police sources, her companion attacked Deepak with four others and killed him. Another suspect is being sought by the police. More research is being carried out.
