Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was on Wednesday evening admitted to All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) in Delhi . Singh has complained of weakness following a fever , said sources , “The former PM had fever on Monday and had recovered from it , but turned weak and is currently on fluids ” they added .
AIIMS official confirmed that former PM,s condition is stable ” former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh admitted to all India Institute of Medical Science Delhi for evaluation of fever , his condition is stable ,” said AIIMS official .
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Thursday visited AIIMS in Delhi to enquire about the health of former PM Manmohan Singh . In a tweet Mandaviya said that he met Manmohan Singh at AIIMS , New Delhi and enquired about his health . The health minister wished Singh speedy recovery .
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wished Manmohan Singh speedy recovery .In a tweet , PM Modi said ,” I pray for good health and speedy recovery of Dr. Manmohan Singh ji “.
The Congress called it a routine treatment and said that the former Prime Minister is stable . ” There are some unsubstantiated rumours with regard to former PM , Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji’s health . His condition is stable . He is undergoing routine treatment . We shall share any updates if needed . We thank our friends and media for their concern ,” AICC secretary Pranav Jha Tweeted the queries .
