Gujarat: Gold medalist wrestler admits to molesting at least 100 women

Kaushal Piplia, a Gujarat state champion wrestler, has admitted to abusing over 100 women. For molesting a yoga instructor, the wrestler was detained on Saturday, December 3. Even the cops were taken aback by the revelation of 100 women being molested.
At the state championships in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019,24 year old wrestler Kaushal Piplia,took home the gold medal in the 74 kg freestyle division. He was missing for ten days after being implicated in the molestation of a yoga instructor. On November 23, the victim reported a crime to the police department in Malviya Nagar.
According to the victim's allegation, there was a person sitting in the parking lot where she had left her scooter. Accused Kaushal prevented him from locking the escalator door when he wanted to use the lift. The guy then started making lewd gestures at the woman after taking off his pants. He attempted to assault the girl physically after she warned him.
He attempted to choke the female while also slapping her. He fled when the girl began to scream. Inspector Ain Sawaliya of the Malviyanagar Police reported that Piplia had admitted to sexually assaulting almost 100 women. But out of embarrassment, the victims have refrained from coming out and complaining against him.
The police said that Piplia always wore a mask while abusing women in order to conceal his identity. In order to capture this suspect, the police organized four surveillance teams. The cameras placed close to the incident were checked by the police. A thorough analysis of the CCTV footage from 1500 cameras placed close to adjacent malls, stores, upscale homes, and other public locations led to the identification of the suspect.
