20 years ago, all the media and fans from all over the world were looking forward to the biggest wedding of the year. They didn’t make it. Last weekend, in a chapel in Vegas, surrounded by other couples, they got married.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are now married nearly 20 years after their initial breakup. The couple dated for 18 months before suddenly splitting in 2003. Now, they’re back together, making red carpet appearances, and living out their early aughts romance.
The singer-actor Lopez and Hollywood’s one of the most handsome men Ben meet on the set of Gigli although Lopez was married at that time to her second husband, Cris Judd. Despite being married she falls in love with Ben and files for divorce from her then-husband.
And they began dating almost immediately and were engaged within months. They called off their 400-attendee wedding just days before their scheduled nuptials in 2003 due to the overwhelming media attention. Months later, they called it off altogether. Lopez and Affleck later married other people and started families before divorcing their respective partners. But by 2021, they’d found their way back to each other. They exchanged vows in Vegas on July 16, 2022, and Lopez says they couldn’t be happier.
