In this clever Hrithik Roshan-Saif Ali Khan thriller, Story is the biggest star, according to the Vikram Vedha movie review

The highly anticipated action film “Vikram Vedha,” starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, has debuted on cinemas today. Having said that, the movie had a weak debut in certain theatres while enjoying a respectable start in a few multiplexes.
According to trade website boxofficeindia.com, the movie had a modest opening of about 15-20% overall, with the exception of a few multiplexes where it had a fair star. The movie’s opening scene reportedly resembles that of “Shamshera,” but this one has a bigger release in terms of screens, which could result in a higher take.

Due to the ongoing Navratri celebrations, however, the trade forecasts that multiplexes will be the film’s primary audience rather than single screens. The makers were supposed to premiere the movie on October 5, which is the Dussehra holiday, according to the trade website. That would have given the movie a longer five-day weekend and encouraged people to see the movie after Navratri was over. As a result, it is not anticipated to draw crowds in urban areas.
Another major release that was much awaited is “Ponniyin Selvan Part 1.” The film’s Hindi adaptation has made a total of Rs 1.50 crore. However, this Mani Ratnam picture is anticipated to earn more than Rs 20 crore nett on day one in Tamil Nadu.

According to the word-of-mouth for both projects, it is possible that the collections will improve over the weekend as well.
