In Hera Pheri 3, Suniel Shetty will make an effort to re-cast Akshay Kumar. "I want to see whether things can still work themselves out,"

Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar's Hera Pheri 3 co-star, has rekindled optimism that the actor might return. Akshay Kumar recently revealed that he had pulled out of the film due to creative differences. In a recent interview, Suniel expressed his shock at the news and promised to contact the producers to inquire about Akshay's potential return. According to reports from last week, Akshay cancelled his participation in the third instalment of the popular Hera Pheri franchise. Speaking at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, the actor reaffirmed this. "I was given the chance to direct the movie, but I didn't like the script. I must follow public expectations. 

That is why I changed my mind. I moved backward one step. It is a part of my journey and my life. I'm also quite disappointed that I can't. However, I am not pleased with the way the creative ideas have developed," he stated.

Suniel Shetty commented on the latest development, telling Mid-Day, "Everything was on track, but I don't know what occurred suddenly [that] Akshay is not a part of it anymore. I'll sit down with Firoz [Nadiadwala, producer] once I'm [done with] the Dharavi Bank promotions to discuss why and how this occurred. I had committed to the movie together with Akshay, Paresh, and this turn of events has shocked me. 

The actor continued, "I'm still holding out hope that everything will work out." Without Akshay, Hera Pheri 3 won't be the same. Famous characters Raju, Babu bhaiyya, and Shyam have travelled together. You can feel the thrill when you bring up the movie. I want to see if everything can still come together," he continued.

In the 2000 film Hera Pheri, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Suniel, and Akshay all starred. Priyadarshan's film was successful, grossing 18 crore at the box office. The late Neeraj Vora directed the follow-up, Phir Hera Pheri. At the box office, the 2006 movie brought about 69 crore. It's been years since the third instalment was supposed to happen. Akshay will now be replaced in it by Kartik Aryan.
