Officials reported on Friday that two children drowned during the immersion of Ganesh idols, while the third passed away in an Unnao hospital.
While receiving medical care, the third child was pronounced dead at the facility. According to reports, the kids had traveled to the Ganga River to immerse the Lord Ganesha sculptures.
The event occurred today during the immersion of Lord Ganesh idols in the Ganga in the Kotwali Safipur area. “Two children drowned to death, while a third died undergoing treatment in Unnao,” according to authorities.
On Friday, the revered Ganesh Chathurthi festival, which lasted ten days, came to a close. In numerous states across the nation, Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great fanfare and in 2022, after two years of limitations brought on by COVID, the holiday was once again celebrated.
