Meanwhile, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed alarm about the “deteriorating” situation in Ukraine on Tuesday. China stated in a statement that it urged on all parties to “exercise moderation” and that legitimate security concerns of any country should be acknowledged, citing a call with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. “China will maintain contact with all parties,” Wang stated.
