A 37-year-old Indian doctor from Kolkata has decided not to leave the war-torn country, demonstrating that humanity still exists. Dr. Prithwi Raj Ghosh, a doctor and student consultant in Ukraine, has opted to remain in the country to help Indian students.
“I’m not stuck in Kyiv, and I’m not going on my own choice. Almost 350 students have been rescued from Ukraine as a result of my efforts. They were my Kyiv students. Other coordinators who have departed have urged me to assist other students who are stuck in various regions of the country, particularly in Sumy “Dr. Ghosh explained.
The ceasefire, according to Ghosh, is for the country’s common people, not just students. Almost 2,000 students were able to depart Kharkiv, he noted.
