A cop was killed and a paramilitary soldier was hurt in a terrorist attack in Pulwama, Kashmir
In the Pulwama district of Jammu & Kashmir, a terrorist attack resulted in the death of a police officer and injury to a member of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
“At Pinglana in Pulwama, terrorists opened fire on a joint CRPF and police Naka party. In this terrorist incident, one police officer was killed and one CRPF member was hurt “In a tweet, the Kashmir Zone Police stated.
The police reported that they had sent reinforcements and had roped off the area.
The assault occurs just after a three-hour operation in Shopian ended with the death of one Lashkar militant. Tomorrow, Jammu & Kashmir will welcome Home Minister Amit Shah on a three-day visit. Mr. Shah will speak at two rallies in the Rajouri and Baramulla district in addition to monitoring the security situation.
