As Russian intervention in Ukraine’s second largest city intensified, India issued an urgent appeal to all of its nationals in Kharkiv to leave immediately for their safety. Indians should arrive at Pesochin, Babaye, or Bezlyudovka by 6 p.m. local time, according to the Indian Embassy, which had to suspend activities in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv yesterday (9.30 pm IST).
“For their own safety and security, they must leave Kharkiv immediately repeat immediately in view of the escalating circumstances,” a second caution stated.
