For Diwali, all major online retailers in the nation offered substantial discounts, and Indians all around the country took full advantage of the lower product prices. A laptop was purchased from Flipkart by a man from Mangaluru. He was shocked to discover that he had not received the ordered item. He was instead given a large stone and some e-waste.
The strange incident—though not very unusual—came to light after the man turned to Twitter. The man known as Chinmaya Ramana spoke about his ordeal on the social site. He also uploaded images of the delivery. Ramana claimed, "Ordered a laptop, and instead got a large stone and electronic rubbish! During the Flipkart (sic) Diwali sale!"

The individual added in a later post: "Choosing Flipkart each time has caused me regret today. Anyone reading this should simply avoid placing an order on Flipkart if they don't want to experience the same thing. They won't aid you in the event of a problem. Just like I did, you'll feel helpless."
Ramana even published an unboxing video. He also mentioned that the product's delivery method was not an open box. The latter approach was put in place to stop customers from receiving the wrong goods.
Ramana appeared to have given up on solving his problem, but fortunately, the business stepped in and gave him a full refund.
