Beginning Monday, PM Modi will begin a two-day tour to Gujarat to launch a number of development projects totaling more than Rs 29,000 crore
From today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat for two days. The Prime Minister will visit the state to officially open and lay the cornerstones for numerous infrastructure and development projects totaling more than 29,000 crore rupees.
Today at around 11 a.m., Mr. Modi will dedicate and officially begin multiple construction projects totaling more than 3,400 crore rupees in Surat. After that, he will drive to Bhavnagar where he will lay the cornerstone for numerous construction projects totaling more than Rs. 5,200 crore and inaugurate them.
At a lavish Opening Ceremony that will take place at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium at around seven this evening, the Prime Minister will officially launch the 36th National Games. Athletes competing in the National Games from all over the nation will hear from Mr. Modi as well. Anurag Singh Thakur, the Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, along with other dignitaries, will be present for the inauguration ceremony.
For the first time ever, the national games are being held in Gujarat. It will start today and go through October 12th.
The largest National Games ever will feature nearly 15,000 athletes, coaches, and officials from across the nation competing in 36 sports categories. The six cities of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar will host the athletic activities.
The Prime Minister will attend the Navratri Festival at the GMDC Ground in Ahmedabad at around nine o’clock. Mr. Modi will board the Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express at Gandhinagar Station tomorrow at around 10:30 AM and ride the train to Kalupur Railway Station.
The Prime Minister will officially launch the Ahmedabad Metro rail project at around 11:30 AM. He will then ride the metro from Kalupur station to Doordarshan Kendra station.
Mr. Modi will officially launch Phase-I of the Ahmedabad Metro project at a public event at the Ahmedabad Education Society in Ahmedabad at around noon.
The Prime Minister would thereafter lay the cornerstone for many projects totaling more than 7,200 crore rupees in Ambaji at around 5:45 PM.
He will offer Darshan and Pooja at the Ambaji Temple at around 7 PM. Mr. Modi will then attend Maha Aarti at Gabbar Tirtha at around 7:45 PM.
