Neck to neck fight in Meghalaya: BJP President lagging behind from West Shillong

Between Conrad Sangma and Bernad Marak, it was a tight race. A short while ago, Bernad surpassed the CM, but as of right now, Conrad Sangma, the leader of the NPP, is ahead of BJP candidate Bernard Marak in the South Tura constituency by 44 votes.

Dr Mukul Sangma of the TMC is leading the NPP's Nihim D Shira by 457 votes in theSongsak constituency while he is trailing from the Tikrikilla Constituency.

In the race for the Mawphlang seat, Doristar Marbaniang of the Voice of the People Party is ahead of Congress candidate Dannyson Kurbah by 1,132 votes.
In the West Shillong constituency, Paul Lyngdoh of the UDP is ahead of Mohendro Rapsang of the NPP by 911 votes. Ernest Mawrie, the president of the BJP, is also lagging from the West Shillong Constituency.

The final findings have not yet been released, but these are the early trends.
