A man was arrested by the NYPD (New York Police Department) this week for repeatedly firing at a 16-year-old boy in the Bronx late last year, said authorities.
The Cops said, an accused is identified as, Micheal, 24, was picked up by the NYD’s warrants squad around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in connection to the November 30 shooting of the teen on Tratman Avenue near Overing Street in Westchester Square.
According to the Police statement base on CCTV footage Spand, joined by another man who is still at large, got out of a cab, walked a short distance and approached the kid. Spand then allegedly fired multiple times at the teenager once at his right hand.
He was taken to the Jacob Micheal Center fortunately, even after striking multiple times the victim condition was stable.
Michael Spand was charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal use of firearm, reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of a weapon.
After he was taken into custody, Spand was related to a couple of huge robberies and criminal use of a firearm incident from March said the cops. Adding to 11 unsealed arrests back in 2014, almost all for robberies, police said.
The motive for the gunplay remained unknown Wednesday. The other man who was with Spand is still being sought for questioning.
