A major earthquake struck the Philippines. Mostly the shaken felt in a populated area near Vigan City (north of Manila). Reports expect severe damage and significant loss of life. The country witnessed a magnitude 7.3 earthquake that jolted Lagangilang, Abra on Wednesday at 8:43 local time (6:13 a.m. IST) early morning.

The video shows the destruction at the historic Bantay Bell Tower in Ilocos Sur, Philippines, following a preliminary 7.3 magnitude earthquake. In the Manila metro, the jolted felt strongly and all buildings have been evacuated.
