PM inaugurates New Airport in Agartala; HIRA model will develop North East India: PM
The New Integrated Terminal Building at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.
The Prime Minister also announced several significant projects, including the Mukhyamantri Tripura Gram Samriddhi Yojana and Project Mission 100 of Vidyajyoti Schools in the state, during the ceremony.
Prime Minister Modi claimed at the gathering that corruption was pervasive throughout previous regimes and that there had been no progress. The previous government in Tripura lacked vision and had no plans to develop the state. “Poverty and backwardness were bound to Tripura’s fate,” he remarked.
The India of the twenty-first century will progress by including everyone. The current administration opposes “unbalanced development.” “This has been going on for decades in Tripura,” he claimed.
Tripura is increasing its connection using the HIRA paradigm, which stands for H (highway), I (internet), R (railways), and A (access) (Airways).
PM Modi first proposed the ‘Hira’ model for Tripura in February 2018, just before the state’s assembly elections. His Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) went on to win the subsequent elections and form the state’s first administration, with Biplab Deb taking the oath of office as chief minister.
