Today is the first day of the 36th National Games, which will last through October 12 in Gujarat. At the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad, Prime Minister Modi will today open the current iteration of the Games. At the Sabarmati riverside, Ahmedabad was treated to a magnificent drone show before the Opening Ceremony. Narendra Modi, the prime minister, released pictures of the occasion online.
PM Modi shared numerous images from the occasion on his official Twitter account. While posting the images, the prime minister remarked, “Spectacular drone show in Ahmedabad as the city gets ready for the National Games opening ceremony!”
The statue of unity, Gujarat’s map, the emblem for the National Games 2022, and India’s Olympic victory are all depicted in the drone photos.
The 36th National Games will feature 36 disciplines and around 15,000 athletes, coaches, and officials from all corners of the nation. The six cities of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar will host the games.
