The dead body had been discovered hanging from a branch of a tree in the Chibra village bush, covered with maggots and in a decomposed state on Tuesday, 22 November. Since he went missing following a drunken argument with his wife, it is alleged that he committed himself 4 to 5 days ago.
According to the statement of the deceased wife, Smti Bobita Deip, who is the mother of two children, ages 5 and 3, respectively, her husband had a quarrel with her four to five days before when he was in a drunken state, and since then he has been missing.
