Rocket to travel 6174 kmph, carrying three satellites on Vikram-S launch

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch the Vikram-S, the country's first privately made rocket, on Friday from its spaceport in Sriharikota. Chennai is 115 kilometres away from Sriharikota. Skyroot Aerospace, a four-year-old startup, will launch the Vikram-S rocket in its first launch, marking the entry of the private sector into the country's space industry, which has been dominated for decades by the state-run ISRO.
At 11:30 if the weather is good, Vikram-S will take off. In addition, it was put off from November 15. The Vikram II and Vikram III series serve as the launch vehicles for Vikram. The Vikram-S launch vehicle, according to the company, can be built and launched from any launch location in less than 24 hours.
In honour of Vikram Sarabhai, who oversaw India's space programme and made significant contributions to the development of the nation's space industry, this launch vehicle carries his name.
According to a press release from Skyroot Aerospace, the mission, called "Prarambh" (the beginning), would send three payloads developed by the Armenian BazoomQ Space Research Lab, the Chennai-based Space Kids, and the Andhra Pradesh-based N Space Tech India.
The six-meter-tall Vikram-S rocket is constructed of solid 3-D printed thrusters for spin stability. The launch will demonstrate the in-flight functionality of various pieces of Vikram series avionics hardware, including telemetry, tracking, inertial measurement, a GPS, an onboard camera, data gathering, and power systems.
