The Lok Sabha secretariat has prepared a list of terms that will be considered unparliamentary in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha ahead of the monsoon session. The Rajya Sabha Chairman and the Lok Sabha Speaker, however, will have the last say in removing terms and expressions. The Rajya Sabha Chairman or Lok Sabha Speaker vets the words said in the house throughout the session, and the Chair expunges unparliamentary terms.
