Arunachal Wushu players brought laurels to India in International Championship…

Six Wushu players from Arunachal Pradesh brought laurels to India at the International Wushu Championship that took place in Moscow from 22 February 2022 until 28 February 2022.

The names of the medal winners are Miss Mepung lamgu in Taijiquan (Gold), Miss Nyeman Wangsu in Daoshu (Gold), Miss Dani Nuri in Chen-Taichijian (Gold), Miss Taug Ama (Gold in 60 kg, Mr Bamang Ampa (Silver) in 52 kg, Miss Yorna Rosni (Bronze) in Spear.

Subedar Uchit Sharma and Havaldar Amit Pal of the Assam Regimental Centre, Shillong (Services Wushu node), had won silver the day before in the event. Subedar Uchit Sharma, with the support of Havaldar Amit Pal as his coach, won the Silver medal in the 56 kg division, making the country extremely proud.
