Siddharth Anand and Hrithik Roshan start the Fighter filming: "And it starts..."

The shooting of the movie Fighter, which also stars Deepika Padukone as the lead, has begun, according to Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan. On its Instagram account, Marflix Productions, the company funding Fighter, posted a photo of Hrithik with the film's director Siddharth Anand. The image's caption said, "And it begins....#FIGHTER."

Fans were thrilled to see Hrithik and Siddharth together in the photo, which shows them posing in front of an aeroplane. "All the best team," one fan wrote, and "Let's go Fighters," another. 

There is nothing further a filmmaker could ask for from an actor that Hrithik Roshan couldn't provide, Siddharth Anand had previously said during an IFFI 2021 conversation. I believe that in order to really utilise his potential, you must genuinely push yourself and come up with something new every hour on set. Which, I believe, none of us have yet accomplished, and which represents a challenge for us all.

"I have said that I'd always desired to become a filmmaker that Hrithik Roshan would do a film with, that I can just work with him or even just bounce my ideas off of him and get his input," he continued. 

In his comments about Fighter, Hrithik Roshan said, "Yes, it's very exciting, and even more so because I think returning to a set where Sid (Sidharth Anand) has seen me be a certain good in War which kind of drives me to know that this anxiety that is building, is because the good has already been done, it has to be better." On January 25, 2024, Fighter is scheduled for release.
