After the loss of Bollywood singer KK, Kolkata Police launched a case of unnatural death, Murlidhar Sharma, joint commissioner of Police (Crime), visited the Oberoi Grand on Wednesday, where the artist was staying during his visit to Kolkata. In south Kolkata’s Nazrul Mancha, KK was playing at a Gurudas College function. He returned to the hotel after his performance, when he became ill and was rushed to the Calcutta Medical Research Institute, where he was pronounced dead. He died from a heart attack, according to doctors.
The case of unnatural death has been filed with the Kolkata Police Department, and an investigation has begun. They’ll look at the hotel’s CCTV footage to figure out what transpired before he was taken to the hospital. According to other stories, he collapsed at the hospital, possibly resulting in injuries.
Since he was declared brought dead, an autopsy will be performed with his family’s approval, meaning that he died on the way to the hospital. On social media, there have been some instances of KK feeling anxious during the ceremony itself. Another video shows him sweating on stage, while another shows him being escorted out of the stadium with a large mob behind him after the conclusion of the event.
According to one social media post, the Nazrul Mancha’s air conditioning system was broken, and the closed auditorium was overcrowded. According to some reports, the auditorium was so full that police had to use fire extinguishers.
“Imagine the heat of Kolkata, then a packed auditorium with no air conditioning, and you’re singing your heart out at the top of your lungs. It wasn’t a typical heart attack “a message on social media said.
KK apparently took a break and went backstage during the performance. A viral video of a man cleaning his face with a towel and waving to a man on stage has gone global. According to reports, the singer was either whining about the air conditioning or the lights. KK complained about being cold in the car’s air conditioning on his trip to the motel.
