To commemorate “Army Day” on Saturday, the Monumental National Flag, the world’s largest national flag made of Khadi fabric, will be displayed in a grand public exhibition along the India-Pakistan Border in Jaisalmer.
Longewala, the site of the epic conflict between India and Pakistan in 1971, will host the presentation of the Monumental National Flag.
The National Monumental Flag is 225 feet long, 150 feet wide, and weighs roughly 1,400 kilograms. This flag took 70 Khadi artists 49 days to complete.
