Swing breaks mid-air at the Mohali Jhula fair, crashing down 50 feet with nearly 50 people on board
During a fair yesterday in Mohali, Punjab, a huge accident occurred when a swing collapsed.
There have been reports of several injuries, including those suffered by women and children.
The injured were brought to a medical facility. The location has been reached by police and district administration representatives.
The massive wheel suddenly collapsed while the ride was underway, as can be seen in a viral video of the incident. Due to the tremendous impact, the passengers inside the swing were observed swinging out of their chairs.
All of them have been checked into both public and private hospitals.
The fair is taking place in Mohali’s Phase-eight Dussehra Ground.
Although this issue was discovered during the initial examination, the authorities have not confirmed it.
The administration’s ability to function has also been called into question as a result of this occurrence.

This is the reason that following the accident, patients were not able to be transported to the hospital by ambulances. Not even emergency phone numbers were visible.Furthermore, there was no first aid station.
