The Earth’s atmosphere ends and space begins. Space is the boundless three-dimensional extent to which objects and events have relative position and direction. Every individual may dream to go into space once in their lifetime. But a very few individuals are fortunate enough to go into space and explore the wonderful creation.
Now the billionaire battle is for space. Jeff Bezos, the richest man in the world announced he would fly in his Blue Origin’s New Shepard spacecraft on July 20. Richard Branson decided that he would take an hour-long jaunt on his Virgin Galactic VSS Unity spaceplane nine days earlier.

Branson was accompanied by two pilots, Dave Mackay and Michael Masucci, as well as Beth Moses, Virgin Galactic’s chief astronaut instructor, lead operation engineer Colin Bennett, and Sirisha Bandla, research operations, and government affairs vice president.
The 70-year-old entrepreneur behind Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Records has beaten Amazon founder Jezz Bezos in the ultimate space race between some of the world’s richest men.
However Jeff Bezos’s rocket trip with Blue Origin is on Tuesday’. Tesla CEO Elon Musk also has the ambition to travel to outer space and eventually Mars, although his timetable is not clear, however, Musk’s SpaceX project is expected to carry civilians into space as early as September this year.
Earlier it was said that the billionaires were not launching their dream to go into space but it was all their ego. However, Branson clarified this statement and replied that it had nothing to do with ego or any kind of billionaire rivalry, Branson insisted, ” I know everyone except me to say yes, he said Wednesday on “The View”. He further added, ” I hate the word ‘ I hate the word ‘billionaire’ I started with 200 pounds”.
It’s taken a couple of decades for both men to realize their ambition of going into space. Blue Origin was founded in 2000 and Virgin Galactic four years later.
The critics will harp that they can’t even agree on what counts as “space”. Bezos believes that space begins at Karman live But Virgin Galactic flies to an altitude of around 55 miles, surpassing the 50-mile mark at which U.S. military pilots get their astronaut wings.
Statement were also made that ,Musk, Bezos, and Branson pretend that we need to explore space for our own sake. In reality, they just want to be the ones in the history books. Let’s save our planet before we search for a much less hospitable one. Then maybe, Sir Richard, people will pay attention.
