Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reaches Haldwani to pay lost soldier Lance Naik Chandrashekhar’s last rides, whose mortal remains were recovered 38 years after from the Siachen glacier by a patrol Indian Army on 13 August.
He had gone missing in an Avalanche on May 29, 1984, during operation Meghdoot. The video shared by ANI shows that his mortal remains have been brought back to his home in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, and numerous other veterans from his unit are marching carrying his remains.
