To travel the short distance of 10 miles to his wedding in Patna late on Friday, a Bihar groom rented a chopper for Rs. 20 lakh.
In order to grant the final wish of Ramanand Singh, his farmer father who passed away in July of last year, two days after his son's engagement to Nishi Kumari, 28, Dr. Prabhat Kumar, 35, a general practitioner at College of Medicine & Sagore Dutta Hospital in Kolkata, hired a helicopter from Ace Air Service, New Delhi.
Nishi Kumari lives in Mitra Mandal colony, Karorichak in the Phulwari subdivision, whereas Kumar lives in Sumeri Tola in the Parsa bazar neighbourhood.
