The year 2022's Mahindra Kabira Festival
Kabir, a weaver-poet from the 15th century, was honoured in the festival's sixth iteration through music, puppetry, storytelling, and academic talks.

From November 18 to 20, Varanasi hosted the sixth Mahindra Kabira Festival, a wonderful celebration of the words and wisdom of the weaver-poet Kabir from the 15th century. Kabir spent a good deal of his life in the city, which was also known as Kashi and Benaras. The festival will be remembered for its diverse lineup of events, which included music, puppetry, storytelling, local cuisine, heritage tours, and academic discussions in addition to the spectacular sunrises and sunsets that could be seen from the locations, Guleria Ghat and Shivala Ghat.
