Toyota’s Cue The Robot Plays Basketball With Nearly 100℅ Accuracy At Short Distances
Back in 2018, the Toyota engineering society created a robot equipped with artificial intelligence and an ability to shoot hoops that put professional basketball players to shame, named CUE, the robot can shoot with nearly 100 percent accuracy at short distances.
CUE has sensors on its torso to measure distance and uses AI to gauge how to smoothly get the ball into the basket. The video of CUE playing basketball has gone viral on the Internet rapidly as people enjoy watching his accuracy in throwing a ball to the net.

The reputed company engineers told The Associated Press that the Cue robot is designed to demonstrate the use of visual feedback. The robot’s shots demonstrate the accuracy of its sensors and its ability to adjust based on the data it receives.
