Ukraine and Russia are engaged in a bitter conflict. Meanwhile, Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and CEO of SpaceX, has stated that his company Starlink has been blocked by governments around the world in order to prevent Russian news organisations from using their platform.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk says his company Starlink has been requested to block Russian news sources from its platform by some governments that do not include Ukraine. According to Musk, he will not accept any pressure to act in any particular way. He has been a supporter of freedom of expression and he can do so only after being threatened at gunpoint.
Elon Musk, the CEO of the Starlink internet company, said that blocking Russian organizations can only be done under duress. According to him, he would never block Russian organizations under pressure from the government of such a country. Starlink satellite broadband service has been requested by some governments to block Russian news sources, not Ukraine, but they will never comply.
