UP: Lucknow teenager pushed to death by jilted lover from 4th floor
The woman, Nidhi Gupta, died from her wounds while receiving treatment at King George's Medical University's trauma centre, according to the authorities.

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly shoved to death by her dumped lover from the fourth storey of a Lucknow building in a crime straight out of a Bollywood potboiler. The incident happened on Tuesday night in Sector H of Basant Kunj, which is within the jurisdiction of Dubagga police station.

Additional DCP (West) CN Sinha provided more information, stating that a FIR has been filed under the proper provisions of murder and forced religious conversion against the accused, identified as Mohd Sufiyan. The girl's mother filed a report at the Dubagga police station, which served as the basis for the FIR. The accused is being sought after. To avoid any possibility of racial animosity, police are approaching the matter with particular caution.
According to police, a FIR was filed against the accused under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (murder) and the relevant sections of the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Act.
