Vaccine doses’ ‘ – PIB Maharashtra. In the words of P.M. of India ” the vaccine has brought pride
& protection in the lives of our citizens”
Total 100 Crore( one billion) vaccination doses has been administered throughout the country. A
proud and incredible moment for India. Despite facing several health infrastructure to health
insurance issues along with oxygen issues in an overpopulated as well as underdeveloped
country like India , it’s incredible and ironical at the same time that as per a study published in
New England Journal of Medicine, Covershield & Pfizer Vaccines to be 90-91% effective against
the Delta Variant of SARS-Cov-2 virus.
It is of great immense prominence that the InternationalCooperation(internationalism) ,
research, technology, transfer of information amids nations, funding, political leadership, and the
very sacrifice of the “People of this nation”, those frontline healthcare workers in a devastating
health infrastructure system has played a very important role & gave India a huge success. It
would not have been possible without the cooperation of the people & their sacrifices.
30% adults have been fully vaccinated, the vaccine is yet to be administered among children &
other groups. If we can achieve 1billion administered doses of vaccine, then we can do more.
The only thing needed is cooperation among masses, steady focus & tiredness effort
