Video: Women beaten on trains by Iranian police at Tehran metro station
After Mahsa Amini, 22, was arrested on September 16 for improperly donning the hijab, she passed away while being held by the morality police, sparking the start of protests.
As nationwide protests over the killing of Mahsa Amini reached their third month, Iranian security agents fired on bystanders at a metro station in Tehran and battered women who were not covering their heads.
In footage that have gone viral on social media, passengers can be seen fleeing the scene as police opened fire on a packed platform, with many tripping and getting crushed in the process. Additionally, footage of police striking ladies and marching through compartments was captured via train windows.

As protesters called for three days of action to remember "Bloody November" of 2019, when hundreds were killed amid rallies against rising fuel prices, the demonstrations grew this week.
In the meantime, Iran's official media reported on Wednesday that a market in the city of Izeh, in the south-western region of Khuzestan, had been the scene of an attack that left at least five people dead.
