In an opinion piece, Arnold Schwarzenegger asks Vladimir Putin to end the conflict in Ukraine. He calls out Russians protesting the conflict as his new heroes.
Former California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, said in a video: “Ukraine did not start this war.”
“I’m speaking to you today because there are things going on in the world that aren’t being told to you,” “he said in the powerful nine-minute video.”
Schwarzenegger said, “the world has turned against Russia because of its actions in Ukraine. Whole city blocks were destroyed via Russian artillery and bombs, including a children’s hospital and a maternity hospital.”
He said that Russia has been isolated because of its aggression.”He was broken both physically and mentally,” he said. “To the Russian troops listening to this broadcast… I don’t want you to be broken like my father.”
Schwarzenegger said to Putin: “You started this war. You are leading this war. You can stop this war.”
