On Thursday, India made history by becoming the first country in the world to reach 100 crore Covid Vaccination doses. It is a significant victory for the entire country in the fight against Covid-19.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus congratulated India and PM Narendra Modi, the people of India, and nonetheless the health workers on this victorious achievement.
PM Narendra Modi had earlier in the day congratulated all Indians, particularly health workers, who are regarded as the front-line fighters against the pandemic.
