First Lady Olena Zelenska will address members of Congress on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m (8:30 p.m. IST) in an auditorium at the Capitol, following a similar appearance by her husband at an earlier stage of the war.

On Tuesday, she accepted a human rights award on behalf of the people of Ukraine in recognition of their fight against Russia’s invasion of their country.
Ukrainian children who lost their limbs as a result of the Russian shelling will be able to go to the United States for treatment.
Ukraine and the U.S. agreed on the respective program of prosthetics for traumatized children, First Lady Olena Zelenska said.
On 19 July, Zelenska met with Secretary of State Antony Blinken and U.S. Agency for International Development Administrator Samantha Power. Blinken underlined the U.S. commitment to the people of Ukraine and applauded Zelenska on her work supporting civilians during the conflict.
