Woman Shiksha Mitra Beaten Badly by School Principal for Arriving Late to School
A woman Shiksha Mitra was badly beaten up with a pair of shoes by her school principal. This was because she arrived late to school in the Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh
. The video of the incident was shared on ANI’s Twitter page and has since become viral. Mahngu Khera school, located under the Kheri police station, was the scene of the incident.
According to officials, the principal of the government school in Lakhimpur block has been suspended with immediate effect for allegedly manhandling Shiksha Mitra.
The event was made public as a result of a widely shared video on social media sites showing the head instructor slapping the woman. In this regard, Laxmi Kant Pandey, the basic education officer in Kheri, has received a report from Subhash Chandra, the Lakhimpur Block Education Officer.
“Headteacher Ajeet Kumar has been suspended after it was reported that he manhandled a woman Shiksha Mitra (a para teacher) of his school, maligning the image of his post and the department and violating the code of conduct for school teachers,” Kheri’s basic education officer Laxmi Kant Pandey told PTI.
In addition, a three-member team has been formed to look into the situation and present their findings as soon as possible. Headmaster Ajit Kumar Verma was detained after a FIR was filed against him under Section 151 of the Criminal Procedure Code (arrest to prevent the commision of cognizable offences).
