World Hypertension Day: Eating Healthy and Healthy Lifestyle can Prevent High Blood Pressure

World Hypertension Day is celebrated on May 17 every year. It is observed annually to raise awareness about the symptoms of hypertension.

High blood pressure or hypertension is a very common health condition faced by many people across the globe.

Health experts contended that this condition affects one in every four men and one in every five women approximately, total over a billion people.

Hypertension is a disease characterised by high blood pressure persistently being recorded in the range of 140/90 or more. This is a major of concern as it can lead to other severe diseases like heart attack, stroke or kidney failure.

This undiagnosed disease usually strikes the people with high stress and an unhealthy lifestyle, it is not certain that it can only caused old people but also young. Health experts recommend reducing salt consumption and following a healthy diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables to added on the diet.
