Anant Singh is presently the MLA from Mokama assembly constituency in the district of Patna. Earlier on June 21, The MP-MLA court of Patna had sentenced Anant Singh to 10 years jail in the arms case as AK 47 and 2 grenades where found with him at his place, as per the report on June 14.
Anant Singh got sentenced for 10 years jail today on July 21 by the MLA-MLC court where he was found guilty because in an investigation of Vinay Yaday, Patna police conducted a raid on Anant Singh house also, where an INSAS rifle, 6 empty magazines and bullet proof jacket was found.
In the viral video Anant Singh reacting to it says that “I am not guilty, the court is playing game on me as am against Nitish Government, also the judge has not been transferred in last 18 months. He says all the allegations are wrong on him, as he is away from the place where police got weapons since more than 15 years. He said he believe that he will get justice if he goes to the high court.”

After all the previous cases on him, this sentencing will probably cancel his membership from Bihar Vidhan Sabha and a bypoll for the same can be set accordingly.
