One of the locations which is being searched in Patna, is said to be of Bhola Yadav’s CA. The CBI is suspecting that the man Bhola Yadav must have played a crucial role in this scam of facilitating jobs in return of land to Lalu’s family.

What was land for job scam? Where did it came from?

In 2008, the CBI alleged that Lalu Prasad Yadav as the Minister of Railways during his ministry, had obtained pecuniary advantages in which, he used to transfer of land properties in the name of his family members, and recruited in return for the appointment of substitutes in Group “D” post in the different zones of railways.

The CBI also found that no advertisements on any platform were made for these vacancies, or any public notice was issued for appointing the substitutes at Zonal Railway. While enquiring it was also revealed that undue haste was shown in processing certain applications of candidates and, surprisingly, within three days from the date of receipt of respective applications, their appointments as substitutes were approved. So, Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife and former CM Rabri Devi Yadav, their daughters Misa Yadav and Hema Yadav, besides some completely not deserving candidates, who were given jobs in exchange for land at a throwaway price, were been accused in the “land for job” scam.
